History of Joondalup
The City of Joondalup, located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, was established in 1998 following the creation of the City of Joondalup from parts of the former City of Wanneroo. The city was named after Lake Joondalup, which is a significant geographical feature in the area.
